Get started
One known way to put open firmware or software on this device, easiest first. Each one links to the project's own instructions.
Before you start- Back up your data and settings (and the stock firmware, when the guide says how).
- Check the exact model, hardware revision and firmware version against the guide: a close model may not work.
- Charge the battery or use a stable power supply; do not unplug during the install.
Flash coreboot with an SPI programmer (device must be opened)

There are no official images: you build coreboot for this board from source (some boards need vendor binaries extracted from the stock firmware). Flash chip: SOIC-8. board_info.txt says flashrom supports the board, so internal flashing may work, but the stock firmware often locks the flash. Back up the original flash contents first: writing them back with a programmer restores the stock firmware.
